Betty Crocker’s Boys and Girls Microwave Cookbook

I walked around Princeton, New Jersey recently with my friend, Jayni Nielson. One of the places that we happened to stop into was the Princeton Public Library. In the library, there is a wonderful section of used books for sale. In the back corner of this section lives the cookbooks.

Whenever I find my way to the library, there is always the oddest collection of cookbooks waiting, and all under three dollars. This time, I found an old paperback book laying on its side, by itself, on the bottom of the shelves. I picked it up and saw that it was the 1992 edition of Betty Crocker’s Boys and Girls Microwave Cookbook. I thought that it was just strange enough to take home, so I did!

Betty Crocker’s Boys and Girls Microwave Cookbook is like a blast from the past- chock full of kid-friendly recipes and pictures of children that look like they crawled right out of a time capsule. I recommend it for anyone who is interested in easy recipes and nostalgia. If you are interested in owning your very own copy of Betty Crocker’s Boys and Girls Microwave Cookbook, the link is down below.
